Traffic Light Circuit – 3 LEDs with Arduino | Task 1

Set up your breadboard

For this project, we’re going to use 3 LEDs and build a simple traffic light circuit.

• 1x Green LED
• 1x Yellow LED
• 1x Red LED
• 3x 220Ω resistors
• 4x Jumper wires (red, green/blue, yellow, black)
• Breadboard + Arduino Uno

Plug each LED into the board and use the jumper wires to connect them to any available digital pins. Be sure to match those pin numbers in your sketch later.

Reminder: connect the shorter leg of the LED (cathode) to ground (GND) through a resistor.
